The Devil is wicked. He will cause you to pay more than you can ever afford to. His enticement is veiled with promised thrills of pleasure, yet his real mission is to Steal, Kill and Destroy, John 10:10.
This was what Elgernin, 23, of Westbury found out, painfully. He got introduced to drugs at 13.
It was then given for free, just mere fun and recreation among older friends. But then came Elgernin's turn to supply the drugs.
And the stealing started. He stole from family and then graduated to stealing from neigh-bours, going deeper to house breakings, just to feed the drug addiction. It became a downward spiral to destruction.
Elgernin's testimony: "I started stealing, from home - took my dad's brand-new tool set and
sold it, that's when I
realized I needed to steal from outside - so then I started breaking into people's homes, breaking into cars and stealing.
Then I realized this is taking me to the grave - I got taken deeper and deeper. I ended up on the streets.
In 2020 I was introduced to Azaria Help
Foundation as I wanted to change my life and leave the streets of Johannesburg.
AHF sponsored me to go to Rehab for 6 months. In 2021 I got baptized and made a decision to serve the Lord." Praise God!
